Sample Projects
|
- 300' of drainage through a cowfield in upstate Vermont (good soil!).
- Installed a 20,000 sq ft lawn in Hopkinton.
- Push back a 50 foot construction wall in Mendon, MA. This was a tough job that the homeowner was getting quotes of $20,000 to complete. I did the job for $2,400 and exceeded his expectations.
- Two 65' walks with patio for some great customers in Uxbridge.
- Thinned 1000 sq ft of woods in Blackstone.
- Graded, dug a pit for a playset, prepped and worked with the homeowner to install a 20' x 20' patio, and installed a lawn in Franklin.
There are just so many great projects that it is hard to list them all. With my rotten photography skills (and my impatience to get to work) I have not done a very good job of documenting my projects with images. Suffice it to say that my customers have given me some favorable ratings using an independent
rating service

Estimates
|
The moment of truth comes when you get that estimate. It can help to provide closure or it can be incredibly deflating. The worst experience is when you get an estimate that leaves you gambling that you will get what you wanted.
I will always work to be sure that I have gotten a good idea of what you are looking for when we first speak. In many cases, I can give you an idea of the ball park costs for the project on the phone. If I cannot help you, I am more than happy to help you to find a more appropriate contractor and to give you my thoughts on what to look for in their prices or services.
During a site visit I will be certain to completely understand your needs and I will prepare a detailed quote that shows you all costs, with explicit line items so that you can be sure that I am performing exactly the work that you are expecting. You will see my rates, markups and estimated amounts of materials. I prefer this kind of disclosure, and the feedback that I have gotten indicates that my customers prefer it too.
