I aim to please. So far my aim has been good but everyone misses once in a while, and I am sure to have my day. While it is nice to be measured by the absence of mistakes, the truest measure of a service provider is how few mistakes they make, and how they handle those that are made. Tread Lightly is more than just a name, it is a philosophy. If I leave you disturbed in any way, I sincerely want you to tell me about it so that I can make it right. The more feedback I get today, the more lightly I can tread tomorrow.
Your confidence is as important to me as is my own sense of security. Both my business and my help is fully
insured.

I am pleased to be able to offer a broad range of references. Firstly here is a great resource for independent reviews of my work provided by my customers. I have no control over these but things seem to be working out pretty well!
Service Magic Ratings
Here are some selected comments:
The Cash Family, for whom I distributed over 60 yds of fill to expand their back yard:
"It was a great experience. We now have a large yard that the whole family can enjoy. Jack offered creative advice, and completed the job with precision and attention to detail. Thanks again."
The Flint family, for whom I regraded their yard and built a retaining wall:
"We were extremely happy with Tread Lightly Earthworks. Jack was very responsive and flexible. He did several versions of the estimate for us and was always prompt and pleasant. He really wanted to work with us to make sure we were happy. He and his crew worked very hard and did a fantastic job pulling out a large tree stump, regrading the entire yard (for proper drainage)and building a retaining wall. They went above and beyond what the project called for and the rates were very reasonable. We plan to have him back in the spring to put in a new lawn. We would definitely recommend him to our friends and family! "
The Jettes asked me to backfill a foundation in the middle of the winter. The fill material was frozen solid and the workspace was about the size of a living room. This created some obstacles but with persistence and good communication we met our objectives:
"Working with Jack was a pleasure. He showed up when he said he would, worked hard, and communicated any issues or potential problems. I would hire him again in a second."
